The Patagonia General plan lays out two objectives for the Town relating to business growth and development:
Policy: Encourage expansion of existing and the construction of new, compatible, locally-owned businesses.
Policy: Support tourist-based or other employment or revenue generating locally-owned, compatible, commercial development.
We plan to facilitate the achievement of these objectives in several ways.
a.) We will seek out and present assistance, where appropriate, for individuals looking to grow new or existing businesses that are consistent with our vision of the Town.
b.) We will simplify and streamline our procedures and requirement to make them as business-friendly as possible, again consistent with furthering our vision of the Town as spelled out in the General Plan.
c.) We will work with partners at the local, regional and state level to make resources available to start or grow compatible businesses in Patagonia.
